Introducing @thetallsociety a community run by Bree Wijnaar, standing at 6’4″ she founded this movement to unite fellow tall women and create a safe space for them to relate with! We recently sponsored their Tall Society brunch in London at the W Hotel, and we wanted to share snippets from the empowering event!
The Tall Society Brunch
The brunch was brought together with tall women connecting and sharing their thoughts and struggles around finding clothes that fit! Individually sharing their own personal stories about the lack of availability in fashion for taller frames.
Over a glass of bubbles, they were able to mingle with one another about their tall struggles and build friendships with people who related to them. Whilst browsing our A/W newness, they saw our catered taller fit for themselves!
Bree, the founder of The Tall Society, voiced her own experience and expressed how Long Tall Sally made it possible for her to feel confident in the clothes she wears!
On her first visit to our previous LTS store based in London, she vocalised…
‘It was the first time in my life I was in a space where everything in a store, actually fit!’
Bree states although her visit was many years ago she can still remember that amazing feeling of walking out with her new winter coat, in which she had confidence in the fit!
